You will need a computer and download software. Hook the j2534 unit to laptop and
flash computer. Done this a few times now and works great.

By usb cable. The drivers are in the CD that came with your Maxisys.

Pedro been looking at different communities and seen you pop up with concise direct answers so I"m guessing you've used this 908P for a time to program with. Here's my question although maybe dumb since I don't own 908P only mini 905 when he's got the driver's installed on 908P will he be just using 908P with a subscription or like other pass-thru's have to use Ford's FMP software on 908P also unsure about the browser and operating system being compatible.

Right now, I don't be able to test with OEM software, I've tried with ISTA-D and ISTA-P, version of 09/2014, from BMW and the software didn't recognize the J2534.

I think in Ford it works, great. I've read in this forum or another, that people already tried and work. But if U need to do something, that request online account, I think you have to pay.

Soon, I will be able to test in several OEM software. I just need to get some time. As soon as I try, I will reply here.

I've test the J2534 box with OEM software, by USB cable) and here are the results:

    - BMW ISTA D and ISTA P - don't recognize the VCI
    - Mercedes (DAS and XENTRY from 03.2014) - don't recognize the VCI
    - PSA (diagbox) - has worked.
    - Renautl (V.124) - don't recognize the VCI
    - VAG (ODIS and VAS PC) - don't recognize the VCI (I haven't try by bluetooth, but I think it will work)
    - VOLVO (DICE 2014) - has worked

I belive maybe they didn't work because maybe I've done something wrong. If any of you have another results, please share.

My IDS software has some problem and I didn't have the chance to test.

I've test to, with the follow software:

    - OPEL (OP-COM) - don't recognize the VCI
    - FIAT (MULTIECUSCAN) - don't recognize the VCI
